MediaTek Helio G99

We’ve upgraded the Helio 4G series, with the G99 using TSMC N6 (6nm-class) chip production process, enabling it to be exceptionally power efficient and giving device makers new opportunities to create gaming smartphones that last longer than ever.

Device makers can create slim and light gaming smartphones with crisp, high resolution FullHD+ 120Hz displays, without needing extra DSC hardware. Now a demanded feature even for 4G smartphones, 120Hz displays provide a supremely smooth everyday experience, with notably smoother scrolling of webpages and animations in apps.

MediaTek Intelligent Display Sync technology improves the power efficiency of these fast displays by dynamically adjusting the refresh rate to only enable faster speeds when it’s needed most.

Device makers can adopt big 180MP cameras, allowing users to capture the most detailed photos. Dimensity-class image quality technologies provide superior photography results compared to other MediaTek Helio series chipsets. Dual cameras up to 16MP with ZSL gives highly detailed bokeh captures in dual selfie and multi-camera designs.

The MediaTek Helio G99 features an octa-core CPU with two high performance Arm Cortex-A76 processors clocking up to 2.xGHz and a highly capable Arm Mali G57-class GPU. High performance LPDDR4X memory up to 2,133MHz and fast UFS 2.2-class storage accelerate data access, maximizing performance in games, apps and everyday activities.

The fast Cat-13 4G LTE modem is integrated into the chip for best power efficiency. Global bands and IMS services are supported, while advanced features such as 4x4 MIMO and 256QAM provide reliable connectivity even in areas of high network traffic.

Essential dual 4G SIM provides a seamless experience with fast data services from both connections, while VoLTE and ViLTE services provide excellent call and live video experiences with faster call setup and noticeably better quality than standard calling.
